Chicken

Posted by Hello
Here's the 'char kay bak' that I mentioned. I don't think it's any special kind of food but something that is common in a Hokkien home cook recipes. Ahmah used to make it a lot since we don't like to eat the chicken in the soup. They are tasteless and very dry. So she has to add the sauces to make it tasty again. There's two kind that she usually cook. There's the dry one like this and there's the other that has more sauce and is sweeter. I prefer this because I can use it to make chicken sandwich with the leftovers. I think that leftovers are the best food ever!
