Phototaxis

Remember the times when we first learned phototaxis? We would place the plant in a black box with a hole for light source. I can't remember if it was the beginning of Biology in Form 3 or was it Science in Form 1? When did it start diverging into different field of science? Shoootttt!! I can't remember!! Or was it Alam dan Manusia until Form 2 then Science in Form 3 then Bio in Form 4?. *Ping slaps her forehead* My Bio teacher is gonna be sooo disappointed in me. *grins* It feels like forever wei..

Anyway, saw a real-life evidence of phototaxis here. They planted the trees to close to each other for sufficient light source. So some of them had to move around to get enough sunlight instead of just growing straight upwards. Isn't it cool? This was at one of the trails at Hawk Island County Park. Love that place...although the mosquitoes are starting to appear now that the weather is warming up.
