Swiss Roll for breakfast

Hmm...what does it mean when you wake up with this song in your head? And you can't get the tune out all morning? Lucky thing Ping was all alone in lab this morning. Otherwise, people sure think Ping go gila edi.

Here it goes...

Bangun pagi, Gosok gigi, Cuci muka, Pakai baju,
Makan roti, Minum kopi, Pergi sekolah, Suka hati.

Ish..macam pergi sekolah tu suka hati sangat. *grins*

No idea where it came from. Haven't heard it since...Std 1? Std 2? It just popped into Ping's head while brushing her teeth. Been singing it all morning. Had to hunt for another catchy song to get rid of it. Anyway, remember those days at KJ2 when we had to sing all these nursery rhymes? Walking by the block near the padang where the Std 1 and 2s are, we can hear the kids
singing during BM period or reciting the times table...5 kali 1, 5...5 kali 2, 10...during 'matematik' period. Wonder how does KJ looks like now. Ping was there when they were building the new dewan up front. But never had the chance to use it. Ping left by the time it was done. And guess what...it's actually on Wikimapia...but the surroundings doesn't look familiar to Ping lah. Isn't there a huge empty sand lot in front of it? Hmmm....it's been way too long.

Ping's sarapan pagi this morning was not kopi and roti...it's Swiss Roll! That's the American version of Gardenia's Twiggies. Ping likes Twiggies better but the Swiss Roll can be pretty addictive too. It is a very unhealthy breakfast as the Swiss roll is not nutritious and loaded with sugar, fat and cholesterol. It is in the category of 'em sa em si' group of food...or as the kuai lo calls - the comfort food group. Only for chiak song. Chiak beh pah and chiak beh eong. Ping rarely buys it because Ping gets addicted to it. After tak perasan, the whole box gone. So Ping only buys them when it's on supersale. This box was given to Ping by Steph when she knew Ping was frustrated 'coz her bacteria was being very stubborn. It's been Ping's breakfast these couple days...hehehe. She's totally hyper right now!
